Meet the Team

Thomas has been with Aramark for 13 years and currently serves as General Manager of Samford Dining, overseeing all dining operations on campus. He has a passion for traveling and exploring international cuisines, as well as spending time outdoors.

Summer joined Aramark and Samford Dining in 2022 and serves as Human Resources Coordinator. Outside of work, she enjoys teaming up with friends to dominate local trivia nights.

Since joining Samford Dining in June 2024, Jessica has enjoyed finding ways to make the Caf feel like home through events like Wellness Wednesday. She loves reading, writing, and spending way too much time perfecting houses in The Sims.

Chef Rod has led the culinary team at The Caf since joining Samford Dining in 2022, bringing creativity and passion to every dish. Inspired by his grandfather’s restaurant, he crafts innovative flavors and comforting classics. Outside the kitchen, he enjoys working on motors and electronics.

Cory has been with Aramark since 2012 and joined Samford Dining in 2022. He now serves as Retail Manager and enjoys spending time outdoors and cherishing moments with his family.

Sabrina joined Aramark and Samford Dining in 2022 as Chef Manager. She loves exploring new recipes and bringing creativity to the kitchen every day.

Rosie has been with Samford Dining since 2021 and brings energy and warmth to every corner of campus. When she’s not working on the floor of one of our retail locations, you can find her practicing her Spanish or brightening someone’s day with a smile.

Phil joined Aramark and Samford Dining in November 2022 as Retail Manager and recently transitioned to The Rotunda Club and Catering Director. Affectionately known as “Mr. Phil” by his colleagues, he enjoys growing his own vegetables and experimenting in the kitchen.
